Marc Pollard - Partner
Marc Pollard is an innovative marketing and management professional with more than eighteen years of experience in business-to-business and consumer-product marketing, business development, and media communications. Marc has managed and directed marketing campaigns for clients such as Air National Guard, Navy, Army, Microsoft, Ford, Hawaiian Airlines, Avis Rent-A-Car, VW, Audi, Speedy Auto Glass, DC Lottery, Washington Lottery and KFC among many others. Marc has worked for Fortune 500 advertising firms, such as the WPP Group, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson, to deliver high-end advertising and marketing campaigns that focus on revenues, profits, customer loyalty and overall product branding.
Marc’s key strengths include creating and implementing internet marketing, sales, and joint venture strategies for both on/offline business, exceptional organization building skills and communication skills plus the ability to motivate at all levels in order to realize individual and client goals. For the past 12 years, he has emerged himself in the technology industry as an online marketer, program manager, and managing the operations of multiple professional services firms. He discovered early that the power of technology can form new customer relationships, streamline the workplace efficiencies, and reduce overhead. Marc has proven expertise in building clients’ business unit operations through technology and process improvement.
Marc has proven expertise in obtaining federal and state contracts, contracting policy and certifications, and currently is the Facility Security Officer to obtain a Secret Facility Clearance for MACROsystems and their key employees. Marc has procured a half dozen federal and state schedules and contracts for IT companies in the public sector, such as the GSA 8aSTARS, GSA70 IT Schedule, Washington State GA Schedule, Seattle City Gov. and Washington State OMWBE.
Prior to joining Advantive, Marc was Chief Operating Officer of public sector IT consulting firm MACROsystems, Inc. and was instrumental in quadrupling the company’s revenue over a 2 year period.
Stanley Florek - Partner
Stanley is responsible for People Effectiveness and Technology Architecture at Advantive. He is a zealous customer advocate and will go the extra mile to ensure clients receive work that exceeds their expectations. He is an experienced software engineer and can explain the tradeoffs of technical choices in plain language so customers can make informed decisions about the direction of their project.
Stanley has hands-on experience with nearly every aspect of IT. He can determine the business value of an IT investment AND deliver that value through effective project delivery. Stanley’s key strengths are a deeply customer-centric view of technology, strong experience in software engineering, project management that bring diverse groups together so they reach a common goal, and a boundless curiosity for finding out how systems work - and making them work better.
Stanley is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the Bainbridge Graduate Institute for Sustainable Business, with a concentration in Sustainable Energy Solutions.
Stanley has delivered technology solutions for hundreds of organizations, including Microsoft, Corbis, Airborne Express, John Deere, Aon Insurance, the US Air Force, the US Army, and the University of Washington Medical Center.
Don Phillips - Partner
Don is a partner at Advantive’s affiliate company serving the public sector - Advantive Federal.
Don is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in Astronomy. He served over 23 years in the U.S. Air Force flying the KC-135 Stratotanker and holding leadership positions in operational, combat support missions, and in-country chief instructor pilot for the Turkish Air Force and their fleet of new KC-135 refueling jets. He retired as a Lt Colonel after serving as the Chief of Aviation Safety for the Air National Guard, marketing and instituting benchmark aviation programs that resulted in the ANG’s lowest aviation mishap rate in its 59-year history. With a Master’s Degree in Information Resource Management and expertise in Safety & Risk Management, Don has managed and developed new business for federal IT projects. Don brings users and developers together as a team to create successful, cutting edge IT programs.
